fraser - TBF Lingard probably does deserve his place as he didn't spit his dummy out when he didn't make the final squad and gave his all in the friendlies knowing he hadn't made the cut.
I just think Southgate could use the games to look at other players, he knows what Lingard can do and if Lingard doesn't get another side he won't be in future squads as it's obvious Solskjaer doesn't fancy him.

I don’t think Southgate could call up Antonio even if he wanted to now.
He’s already declared for Jamaica and signed the paperwork.

We'd all love Antonio to be in the squad but then would be moaning like fuck that he would over stretch in training and do is hammy.
He'd hardly get many minutes, would just try to hard and get injured.
